If you intend to upgrade or replace any elevator car or controller equipment in your building you may be required to upgrade the fire alarm system as well to accommodate elevator “Capture/Recall” required by NFPA 72 Fire Code.
Often, this necessary requirement is overlooked and will create delays in obtaining an elevator “Final Inspection” and State Certification of the system.
